About Established Tree Transplanters

For over 40 years, Established Tree Transplanters has been the leading supplier and transplanter of advanced trees to the Australian market.

Founded in 1973, ETT began as the vision of Graham & Judy Davis, who, after returning from the UK where Graham learned the innovative techniques for transplanting large trees, set about demonstrating that urban landscapes could be transformed by the inclusion of mature trees. Demand for trees quickly grew, and within 12 months of operation, ETT began growing its own stock, establishing its first nursery on three acres in Wandin East.

Specialising in the production of selected species suitable for street tree planting, ETT was responsible for the re-imagining of suburban streetscapes.

In fact, one of our very first projects – the planting of street trees along Springvale Road – remains a feature of the area today.

Over the next three decades, ETT underwent significant expansion to meet the growing demand for trees created by a boom in housing development projects across Victoria and Australia. This led to the establishment of a 250-acre tree farm in Hoddles Creek in Melbourne’s Yarra Valley, as well as a second 300-acre farm in Echuca.
